I feel I’m watching all the time
I wait like continents divide
I’ve got my suit and my knotted tie
It feels like too long since I cried
I have a time, A life of sorts
It’s good to play, enjoy the thoughts
But I’ve no stillness deep inside
It’s far too long now since I cried
I don’t wanna be miserable
It really isn’t what I mean
I’m not trying to catch your eye
I’m not going to make a scene
I need too much sleep and too much food
To rest in arms of solitude
The kettles on, the Earth’s on fire
And I can’t even find the time to cry
The stars fly to heights unseen
The moon surges through the sea
And love swings her lazy eye
